Please do everything you can to help shed light on our Cause of "Mental Health/ Suicide Awareness/ Prevention and Support"

Suicide, and particularly Teen Suicide, statistics in the state of Colorado are alarming! Colorado’s suicide rate is twice the national average! The need for more discussion and attention on this issue is obvious. Our society has generally dealt with Suicide in "hushed whispers” or veiled references in news articles. For too long our society/communities have neglected addressing Suicide, out of either embarrassment or a fear of having a “weakness” of some sort, be it societal or individual. This avoidance has brought us to our current situation statistically.

We are hoping that, through our Foundation Game, we can bring this issue into the light! We hope to raise awareness and conversation. We want to be proactive in raising money for research/education and support related to Suicide.

We, also, believe that our community is ready to support and address this “Cause”.

Please join us in ‘Our Cause” by supporting this event.

Don’t hesitate to contact us ( if you are interested in getting involved or have any additional questions!

The Colorado High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) has created an opportunity for High School Varsity Teams to play an additional basketball game as long as the programs donate roughly $200.00 per program to the CHSAA Foundation. CHSAA uses these donations to benefit various aspects of high school sports across the state.  Thus the games are referred to as a “Foundation Game”. The game is a normal game except it does not count in win/lose/RPI, and none of the individual stats are official.
